Care Ultimate: close collaboration, every task priced before it starts

Care Ultimate is the top plan of Continuous Monthly Development, for ongoing engagements where Care and Care Plus aren't enough.

You send us tasks, as many as you like, across as many systems as you run. Every task, or group of related tasks, gets its own fixed price for your approval before any work begins. You see the price and say yes or no. Nothing is billed by the hour for the development work itself, and nothing starts without your approval.

People with the right expertise are added to your project as your needs grow, in effect letting you hire a software development team that scales with you: one developer, two, three, or more working in parallel when the volume calls for it. And you can meet with any 1902 Software expert whenever you need to: your Project Manager, an AI specialist, a designer, an architect, whoever the topic requires.

Care Ultimate is also where bigger scope lives: we advise, prototype and test where needed, and set up and configure everything from a single server to a complete distributed cloud architecture on AWS or Azure.

We use our own AI-powered estimation tool, based on more than 28 years of project history, to price tasks accurately.

• You've outgrown Care Plus: your work regularly needs more discussion than two meeting hours per month can hold.
• We're taking over a large existing system that needs a whole team of developers working on it at a time.
• Your engagement has bigger scope: advising, prototyping and testing, or setting up and configuring anything from a single server to a complete distributed cloud architecture on AWS or Azure.
• You want the simplicity of "just send us tasks," with per-task cost control and direct access to our experts whenever you need them.

Some clients arrive at Care Ultimate after growing out of Care Plus. Others, typically businesses with large existing systems and a lot to do, start here on day one. Your Project Manager will recommend honestly what fits.

Care: everything in writing, one fixed monthly price, no meetings. For tasks you can simply describe and hand over.

Care Plus: everything in Care at its own fixed monthly price, plus up to two hours of meetings per month with a Project Manager or any 1902 Software expert, and up to two ongoing tasks at a time.

Care Ultimate: close, ongoing collaboration. A fixed price for every task or group of tasks, approved by you before work begins, and people with the right expertise added to your project as your needs grow. Meetings with any 1902 Software expert are available whenever you need them.

Every task is delivered at its agreed, approved price. Care Ultimate's fixed prices include the estimation, approval handling, and coordination each task needs, which is why a small, steady workload is always less expensive on Care or Care Plus. If something breaks because of a mistake we made within an agreed task, we fix it at no charge.

Meetings, coordination, and emergency support are billed separately at the going project management rate for actual time spent. Your Project Manager will always explain this before it applies. When we bill by the hour, we charge actual time, never rounded up, exactly as with Fixed Price Projects. And if you ask for something genuinely new to be built, it's simply quoted as its own fixed-price task, never billed hourly.
