Automated testing services built for reliability
When automated testing makes sense
Not every project needs automation, but certain scenarios benefit significantly:
Business-critical features, payment processing, checkout flows, where failures directly impact revenue or trust.
Repetitive testing requirements, regression testing, cross-browser checks run after every sprint.
Complex user workflows, multi-step processes, integrations between systems, calculations depending on various inputs.
Rapidly changing systems, applications deployed weekly or daily benefit from continuous testing services that ensure each release doesn't break existing functionality.
Systems requiring scale testing, performance validation under load or concurrent users.
If your project doesn't fit these patterns, a lighter, human-led approach might be more practical, we'll recommend what makes sense for your situation.
Our automated testing process
Define automation scope. We identify which features need automated testing based on business risk and testing frequency, and establish an execution schedule, typically after every staging and production deployment.
Document test scenarios. Business conditions, end-to-end workflows, edge cases and test data requirements, the foundation for script development.
Configure test environment. We run automated tests directly on your staging and live servers, so tests validate your actual deployment rather than a simulation. We provide the IP addresses our automation runs from and the test data used, so you can whitelist them and exclude test submissions from your analytics.
Build the test coverage. We use AI to generate and maintain test coverage that validates actual outcomes against expected behavior, coordinated closely with development so coverage evolves as features change, and verified by experienced QA engineers.
Execute and maintain tests. Scripts run on your defined schedule, generating reports your Project Manager reviews and prioritizes by severity. Scripts are maintained continuously as your application evolves.
Continuous monitoring
Beyond project-specific test coverage, we offer automated monitoring that keeps an eye on your website or application's health:
- Availability, certificates and domain health, so the basics are never the thing that takes you down
- Performance tracking, Core Web Vitals and speed analysis
- Indexing verification, robots.txt compliance and SEO configuration
Monitoring frequency is configured during setup based on your risk tolerance.
AI-assisted automated QA, running 24/7 (add-on)
For clients on Care Plus, Care Ultimate or a Fixed Price Project, we offer AI-assisted automated QA as an optional add-on. We set up AI agents that test your website or shop on a schedule that suits your business, every 6 hours, every 12 hours, or whatever interval fits, so your critical functions are checked around the clock, 24/7.
What the agents can check includes:
- Load time
- Form submission
- Functionality such as search, checkout and calculations
- Whether the site has changed, a new hero banner or changed text is flagged for human checking
among many other checks.
How it's billed: some of these tests are run by AI agents and use AI tokens. Tokens are the units AI providers charge for processing, so the cost simply follows how much testing the agents actually run. Token usage is billed separately, based on actual usage. Not all automated tests use tokens, and your Project Manager will always tell you in advance which tests do. That way you always know what drives the cost.
The add-on is separate from the Monthly System Check, the report included in every Continuous Monthly Development plan: the add-on continuously tests your site's functions, while the Monthly System Check reports monthly on your system's overall health.
When automation isn't the right choice
UI/UX evaluation, visual design and user experience quality require human judgment automated tests can't replicate.
Infrequently changing systems, applications in maintenance mode with minimal updates; setup costs often exceed the benefit.
Exploratory testing, investigating edge cases and unexpected behaviors is where human-led testing excels.
Early development phases, features changing rapidly mean scripts become outdated quickly.
We evaluate automation feasibility during project planning and recommend the approach that delivers the best return for your situation.

Commonly asked questions
When does automated testing make sense?
Automated testing services suit business-critical features, repetitive testing across sprints, complex workflows, rapidly changing systems, and performance or load testing. Human-led evaluation works better for UI/UX assessment, infrequently changing systems, exploratory testing, and early development when features change rapidly, which is why our QA engineers verify everything automation produces.
Do automated tests run on our actual servers?
Yes, directly on your staging and production servers, no separate test environment needed. We provide the IP addresses our tests run from and the test data used, so you can whitelist them and keep your analytics clean.
What happens when automated tests find bugs?
Tests generate detailed reports after each execution. Your Project Manager reviews results and prioritizes issues by severity. If you have a development agreement with us, we fix critical issues and schedule others by priority; if we’re only providing testing, you receive reports to share with your own team.
What technologies can you automate testing for?
Magento, WordPress, custom .NET applications, React frontends, mobile apps, API integrations, and many other platforms. If you’re using a platform we don’t actively develop on, we’ll be honest about whether we can provide effective automation for it.
